There are people who care about their appearance.

I'd never walk around without having my hair the way I want it in, or with the wrong clothes.
Norrin, does it actually change your lifestyle or bother you that much when men want their hair good and nice?
No, it doesn't, its your choice though.
No, it's just something I have an opinion on and this thread is relevant for expressing it.
Also, "Wrong clothes"? This is what society has come to. How is there such a thing as wrong clothing?
A funny comment, but I'm over here with my point.
You missed us, clearly.
It's less about the hair style and more about the worrying levels of effort. It's bad enough that girls are pressured societally.
I like it maybe comb it a little IMO ;)
Yea right, norrin :)
This is a topic about a hairstyle. If you can't deal with men who care about their haircut then GTFO but stop highjacking topics just to argue the shit out of itQuote:
It's less about the hair style
Real men look like Shaggy.
Please dress like the below when you go on your next date or dinner or whatever, and come back at me with your newly acquired experiences.

The difference being that you tried to tell me what to do, but you can't.
I never actually did what you said. I openly stated that all I'm stating IS my opinion, by definition it's not right or wrong. My whole point was that people shouldn't be judged by their appearance and there's too much emphasis on it.
Also, behaviour? Yes. I judge people by behaviour...what's your point there? Everyone judges by behaviour.
Your game. Step it up.
Did I not say that I WASN'T speaking out about taking care of your appearance?
I believe I emphasised the difference between doing that and being obsessive about it to the point that you're begging opinions on a haircut. Disclaimer: if we're gonna do this, please get my points correct. That goes for you and Ting.
Yes, and as ridiculous as we may feel that outfit is, how is it "wrong"?
If someone is happy wearing that, why do they deserve ridicule or abuse? Society is why. Your turn. Go.
We all have standards and that's fine, but I think it's a bit ridiculous to see a man begging opinions from a haircut sported by a magazine model. If the dude is happy, go for it. I've had many conversations with Darc, he's a good dude. It's not a diss.
It's an observation.
lol hair.
bunch of girlpants.
Wrong. You said: Why are you concerned about your haircut?
I answered: Because there are people who care about apprearance.
This has nothing to do with too much emphasis or anything, he was just wanting opinions. And obviously, he wasn't asking for yours.
But hey, it's norrin as we know him, we are wrong and he's right.
Not only by behaviour. You were obivously implying that people who care alot about their appearance are jersey shore-alike.Quote:
Everyone judges by behaviour.
Even IF. It doesn't say anything about a persons character.
Here we go again. You're all right, just as always http://www.modcraft.net/community/pu.../sign_rofl.gifQuote:

I'm out [:
Ugh there is such a thing as wrong clothing. :eye: Like for example you can't wear anything that exposes genitalia in public and in some schools you have a dresscode. Then there's just the dresscode that society imposes on people but eh when in public! As long as my genitals are not hanging out! I EXPECT SERVICE! I'm looking at you 7Eleven! :eye:
But eh I'm a metro-cowboy so I always wear blue jeans and a baby-t. /sarcasm
I know what your talking about, one should be able to wear what he wants when he wants. But the miniority of people think that. The majority of people we talk to or the female/males we try to attract want us to look as good as possible. So yes I try my best to stay with current trends, not because I sold my soul, just because I want to look good to the majority of the world. Yet there are some trends im refusing to buy unless they have a specific one that I like. IE: Jordans.
Me and you have almost the same mindset about everything.
I'm sorry, but that's just immeasurably sad, Sidi.
"I want to look good for the majority of the world."
You have my pity. I don't mean that as a diss, I mean it sincerely.
That's not wrong clothing, that's clothing that's inappropriate for a situation. You wouldn't wear assless chaps to a funeral. Well, YOU would, haha. You get my point.
I wear to impress others is what i meant by that, I could've used better terminology, but thats what I meant. I stand by it, Would I rather wear what I want and be around myself, orrrrrr, wear current fashion and be around my classmates. I live in New York City. Its not some subarban area where one knows one another one. I try to impress others when they see me walking by.
Assless chaps in and of themselves are not "wrong", Grot.
Just like wearing an "I Love Mark David Chapman." shirt isn't "wrong". Would you wear one to a Paul McCartney concert, though?
The mojave desert could be filled with how little I care about whose opinions he was asking for. It's an open forum.
He knows me enough to know that I'm not dissing him. He has come to me asking for my opinion on MANY things, specifically, and I've been harsh when I've had to. He's often thanked me for it.
Darc probably didn't take what I said badly, why are you?
I hear a new variation of that every month. It's like this forum's version of a period and it's getting old.
You ballsed up my post. Why am I being blamed?
No, I said there's a difference between caring about your appearance and being like those kind of people. Those kind of people being those who wear enough product that they might catch fire if they go near an open flame. People who feel that wearing "Gucci" on your chest means you're worth anything.
They may be perfectly nice people, but that's just a stupid way to be, in my opinion. It was never a comment on their personalities, nor was I putting it across as anything BUT my opinion. I stated as much.
Stop throwing a tantrum. Shouting, "Norrin's always right" is actually so 2005. It really does make YOU look worse than me, nowadays.
Quote where I said it does. Explicitly. I want you to quote where I explicitly said it does. Not some half-assed misinterpretation, an actual quote.
At least do yourself the dignity of not using that nonsense retort.
Yes, that's what I thought you meant. I severely pity you. That's an incredibly sad disposition to have.
People pleasers disgust me.
It's because the belt isn't doing its job.
I know you probably mean that as a joke. :D But blaming the belt in this instance is like blaming a boat for sinking. Don't blame the boat! Blame the people operating the boat, hell you can even blame bad weather! The sea was crazy and that led to my belt tipping over and my *** falling out.
CNN ~ "Only one known casualty has been reported and that is the death of commonsense." /sarcasm
Lol yeah i was kidding.
Although whether intentionally or unintentionally, the belt isn't holding the pants up.That's what their for.
Kiki, Shaniqua and marqueta find it very attractive btw.
I get a haircut when my hair is too long.
I wear T-shirts and Jeans. I wear whatever shoes, as long as they aren't cheap or fake.
Since I live in Florida, when it's too hot to wear Jeans, or when I am loafing around outside, or not working, I wear Basketball shorts.
That's all I really ever wear.
ITT: Norrin takes n00bs to school. Again.
the guy looks like a pale, probably hungry, vampire.... BTW the guy on his T-shirt is really worthwhile being mentioned!!!
I'm female and I think it looks "gay" on that guy anyway. If you have more masculine features you might be able to pull it off. Most guys who wear these types of hair styles tend to be slightly more feminine looking and these hairstyles don't help.
LOL as long as I don't have to see someone wearing them I'm fine. Though I do find them to be a bit silly.
I'm getting tired of the girly EMO vampire look. I want hairy manly beefy vampires. :D
Wow 5 pages.
Anyway I'm not concerned about my hairstyle. I've been thinking of doing an haircut alike but the reason I posted this was a bet I made with a buddy of mine, who kept insisting NO ONE would like this cut other than me.
Although I take great care and attention with my appearence, and yes I get pissed off if I go outside with bad hair, don't EVER compare me to Jersey Shore again. EVER.
Oh and guy on shirt is James Dean. Pretty obvious but worth pointing out :)
IDK, but that guy certainly looks relaxed and cool.
I'm assuming its the hair, if not his designer clothing making him that cool.
Also, you should not have this hair style unless you're an Italian working for the mafia, or can play standup bass in a punk rock band. Preferably with skulls or flames or upside down crosses on it.

Reminds me of Morrisey's hairdo.
Don't think it would suit you, Darc, and it seems like it'd take some work on your part, to condition your hair to look like that? The way his hair grows just seems different from yours.
Yeah, I'm not doing it since it doesn't really fit my style anyway. I'm kind of looking for a new style so i'm open to suggestions. I always loved Beckham's medium-short sized hairdos, the "wave" sort of one.

But doubt I can get my hair to look like that. Meh, could always take a photo to hairdresser and ask his/her opinion.
