Ever freaked out when waking up?

This morning both my arms were sleeping, but my right arm was in this weird position that it looked like it was broken. So I tried to get up (failed miserably, cause both my arms were sleeping), but the moment my left arm 'woke up', I could get back up, and it really looked like my arm was broken so I was freaking out and hoping that the pain wouldn't suddenly burst in when the arm woke up. Eventually my arm woke up and nothing was wrong :-/


Anyone else have these weird experiences when they wake up and freak out right away?xD

I woke up being not in my bed dozens of time.
(Fell out while sleeping unnoticed and slept further).

I thought this was gonna be about sleep paralysis which is like the scariest thing ever.

I only ever had it a few times, and none recently...but shit it was so scary.

I woke up next to a girl I didn't even know.
I was terrified.

Never had sleep paralyisis, but I can see that being terrifying, 'specially if you don't know what it is.

i fell out of my bed and busted my nose once slept all the way through it my mom beat me cuz i get blood all over her white carpet :(

My arms sleep so much when I wake up, I find it fun!

Sleep paralysis SUCKS ***. I got it chronically as a kid. Sometimes I wouldn't even goto sleep in fear of it.

I once had this dream where my arm got tore off in it, and i woke up panting sweating and the first thing i checked was if my arm was still there. First time ive ever said "thank god that was a dream"

i freak out almost every day when i wake up lol, always get my arms paralyzed btw but thats not the main reason i get freaked out. some time ago i woke up and there was all this stuff i put on my desk next to my bed which was in the middle of the floor o.o and i was looking for my glass of water and couldnt find it, turned out it was all the way on the other side of the room behind the door :s (a open door..) to make things even weirder, the glass which i filled the night before i went to sleep was completely empty, and there was no drop of water on the floor.. and i didnt drank from it either. im also getting these weird dreams lately where my room suddenly starts stretching in width and height.. but everything else in the room is exactly how it is for real.. really spooky. then a few days ago when i woke up a cable thats plugged in my wall next to my bed, powering the alarm clock and radio suddenly was lying on the ground. like wtf :s. im not joking.. i still think there must be a logical explanation for all this but im slowly getting scared of this shit lol

isn't sleep paralysis the thing where you feel a "ghost on your back"?

I think there was a time in class when I dozed off and it felt like I was being dragged downward through my desk into the floor. It felt abnormally hot as well. When I came to my face was covered in sweat.

oh that! i havent got that in a long time but i remember what u mean lol. when i was little i got that allot too and thought i was dragged to hell or something xD i thought i was the only 1 having this. then later when i was doing pot for the first year this weird feeling often would come back again but then it actually felt good for some reason, not like i was dragged to hell but as if i became 1 with the earth :P

but now i think back, when i was still little i also got some weird slight halutions (im not sure if they are halutions, its more like thoughts similar too this ghost on your back your talking about.) where i think of something incredibly small and vulnerable like a insect beeing aproached by something huge, placing myself in the body of that insect. and the feeling that came with it was just out of this world, and not describable. kinda frightening but also comforting at the same time. does anyone recognise this too? (are we on to something? xD) or is this just me beeing crazy. (edit: also this huge thing aproaching never did anything to me, or me as the insect, neither i could see it, it was just a feeling of something huge and heavy without shape aproaching me for aslong this trip was going on)

lol this all started happening before i played this game though :P

The only times I've freaked out waking up were school related nightmares. When I took a few seconds to sort my thoughts, check the time and calendar I realized it was just a nightmare and you can't imagine that huge relief. :3

I have woken up in shock so many times thinking it was a school/work day when it was actually saturday/sunday :-/.

I woke up once and could not move.

Just got freaked out today.

My blanket was on my chair and when I woke up for a second I just saw this blurry shadow of a person trying to attack me.

Every once in a while i will fall off a curb or a cliff in my sleep and wake up in real life as i hit the ground and it scares the hell out of me but it hasn't happened on a while.

Go sleep paralysis a couple of times. One time I was laying on my face so I couldn't breathe lol.

But...couple of times my arms fell asleep though never all two at one time.

I suppose there were also times when a part of my body might be off bed so I'd realize it subconsciously and wake up all whoa holy shit cuz it felt like I was falling or something.

I also live on the highway so a few times I have woken up to SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEECH BAM! First time I was really young and only time I ever got freaked out because I thought dragons were attacking or summin.
