No Bios?

i gota new motherboard a while back and a new processor, AMD Phenom II, and im trying to reduce the fan speed on this loud asss HSF, i tried to g o to the bios like reccommended, and all it says is, "boot off which CD,Or HDD" and just boots.

I have a MSI G71-MAD1015, where can i get a bios, does it matter what bios i use?

No BIOS = no boot-up AT ALL.

You just press the wrong button. It usually is F1, F12 or DEL. F8 afaik is used to select the boot medium without going through the BIOS.

oh ok i was pressin F2 F3 and F12 repeatedly haha.
