Graphics card problem!!
Hi, I have a 1gb Nvidia GTX 460 SE no warranty left and getting gaming artifacts every now and again. Cleaning and reinstalling drivers dont seem to work, a temporary solution I have is to run Shogun 2 in the background for 30mins and it cleans up for some reason. Here are some examples of what happens.

Looking for a permanent solution.

Artifacts are usually gained through heat damage. There's no real fix for this other than warranty or a new card afaik.
What are your idle and load temperatures by the way?

around 33 degrees cel, 50-60 when im gaming.

GPU temps are normal in that case. Off to other stuff then...
Try reseating your GPU.
Check your HDD for errors/reinstall windows. A 2nd partition for this just to check would be enough.
What's your PSU brand and wattage?
If you have a 2nd GPU or PC at your disposal, swap out your GPU and see if the problem still occurs.

Gona reseat and dust off my GPU.
My Powersupply is Acebel 12V
I had a 8500GT and it works fine. Weird how Shogun 2 running in the background for a while fixes it :/
EDIT: Fixed!! :D guess the dust was stuffing things up :P Thx for the help
