Did you download it or did it come with a disk?
If you downloaded it, redownload from a different website preferably.

Have you tried compatability mode with Windows Vista SP3?
I had this before I installed my graphic drivers. Before, I was running on the driver Win7 downloaded to suit my card; but FFXIV refused to work until I had the latest official drivers.Quote:

Yeah, the class system is getting revamped and apparently they are introducing old FF style classes like in XI :P?
They're mostly online early morning. Like midnight to 11am. Always when I came on at night, most people were either going to bed or just at school. I don't want to start yet though. I got equipment sets for each class. Would s*ck to lose that. Especially how freaking long it took me to get to all 3 towns... Bronze/iron gears aren't exactly cheap either. I'll play either monday or tuesday to decide though. If I restart it will be cornelia and I'll search for a linkshell right away, or if someone could invite me to theirs, yay?xDQuote:

Made a new character on Cornelia server, Really wish they'd get rid of the physical levels faster, getting sick of point allotment.
And I do still have 1 buddy pass key laying around somewhere up for grabs depending on what I get in return. Since I did pay 110AUS for the collectors edition at first release, and it's perminetly to play til it's p2p that I know of.

Mobs etc drop materials and skins etc.
I'm not realy the crafter type..
Beating up mobs is more my style =p
How can I get some new equips for my Pug w/o crafting? =O
Well if it's like every other MMO (including ffxi) you can farm materials and then sell them on the AH, then using that money you make to buy things from the AH...lol or just straight up farm the materials you need and give them to a crafter to make whatever it is for you.Quote:

So I've been reading around trying to figure this out, can I use magic while wielding a sword? Or is it more like you have a sword out you use sword fighting abilities and you have to switch to a wand to cast magic?
If the former, is there any sort of planner I can play around with beforehand to see what cool combinations I can come up with?
