im down with jesus cuz he saved us all and my first tattoo would be cross to remind of mi vida(my life)jesus
eww, your joking right? i wouldn't get one even if someone payed me 1000 bucks..
If I ever did get a tattoo of either Mary or Jesus, it would be Jesus. But I probably won't. A tattoo I want to get is my coat of arms.
I honestly would get neither there both horribly overused i mean unless your a devout believer in either or and you want to really show off faith.... even then you can show your faith in other ways. -_-
my opinion ofcourse take it as you wish.
Heh personally I don't think it's a good way to show your faith. I suppose you are wanting to in a respectful way but I still don't think a tattoo does it.
"The Old Testament law commanded the Israelites, “Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD” (Leviticus 19:28). So, even though believers today are not under the Old Testament law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:23-25; Ephesians 2:15), the fact that there was a command against tattoos should cause us to question. The New Testament does not say anything about whether a believer should or should not get a tattoo."

However, "For whatsoever is not of faith is sin" (Romans 14:23). We need to remember that our bodies, as well as our souls, have been redeemed and belong to God. Although 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 does not directly apply to tattoos or body piercings, it does give us a principle, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."
Yea, I kinda want to let people know im a believer in god.
I even have the head of jesus as a charm on my chain.
Kinda like this: http://www.thugfashion.com/Images/Pe...ges/pen144.jpg

ok, i was cruel of what i said its cool if your christian its just im not.. but out of those two jesus is the right choice
just remember you cant change your mind once you do it, cuz its pernament..

If Jesus could preform all of these mirracles, why can't he be white?

because he's not michael jackson
But those tattoo's have no meaning. At least A Jesus tattoo would have meaning to it. Like my cousin just covered half of his calf with Death/Grim Reaper! Meaning?
And what I meant about my last post. If Jesus can turn bread into fish, water into wine, etc. Then there is obviously a chance of him being white. He is the son of God..:hmm:
I'm black so he will look black on my skin... ^^
I like to think Jesus wasnt white...but kinda dark tan.
No. God is merciful.
"1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast." - Ephesians 2 :)
Edit: About Jesus' race... why does it matter? I don't care if he would be white, black, asian, middle eastern(?). I WOULD say because of his origin, that he would be much closer to white than black. I don't know though and it doesn't really matter so you all should just drop it anyways. Because it's just kind of a mockery.
just stop guy,please
see look im asking nicely
dont get used to it
What if i told you Jesus was Asian, all of you would be greatly dissapointed.
Wow. No love for the Virgin Mary?
