I'd go to the past and visit all those places that the historians and archeologists haven't discovered and see if they speak the truth or just talk blindly and know nothing about the past. :)
I'd go to the future, get the tech they discovered, bring it back to the present. Spread it, and then go to the same in the future again and see how much more tech we get.
the past. theres a chance if u go to the future the earth is wiped out completely. maybe its full of radiated crap, maybe there is no air anymore, or maybe there is no earth at all anymore lol. so its safer to go to the past. and by the way in the past woman dressed up allot nicer then now imo, and they were more serene/pure. that could be another reason :P
I like the idea of going hundreds of years back with an iPhone, cell phone, PC etc. and see the reactions.
Also, going back to the early 1900's with 5000 dollars or so and be rich.
I actually would try to visit both if possible but in the end return to the present where I belong. If there is a future, I could be dead tomorrow for example ;) Infact... WHAT is the future?
In my opinion, the past is the most appealing thing to humans. Sure, the future is also appealing, but in most cases it isn't so much compared to the past.
The reason is, the humans have a "what if this had happened" complex, as well as a severe love of the past (such as ancestry, antiques, etc...).
Anyways, I'd go to the past, and if it were an option, maybe peak into the future.
I'd go to 1965. I'd only stay there for about 10 years though.
After that I'd go in the future 150 years to probably find out humans are instinct.
