Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo

Pretty good film so far. A bit over halfway done with it. No idea what studio produced it, I did a bit of research and the guy who directed it has directed or worked on a lot of awesome stuff. The artwork and story are on par with a Ghibli film.


Tho, there are some things that kind of bothered me during it. There seems to be a few elements of the story that remind me of other movies, especially of one of my favorite movies of all time, Princess Mononoke.

There is one part of the film that I swear that I was looking at Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke :P That's about all I can say without it being a spoiler, so I'll not say much more.


Anyways, it's definitely worth a watch when/if you can get your hands a hold of a copy.
