Glory Destiny / Spirit Tales questions

I've been googling around and trying to figure some stuff out concerning these two games.

I know Glory Destiny and Spirit Tales are the same game, and Spirit Tales is the US version.

Does that mean that Glory Destiny is the "global" version?

What's the difference between the two?

I think I heard about the cash shop being more expensive in ST than in GD. If that's the case, can US players play Glory Destiny without fearing an IP block?

I reside in the US but obviously I don't want lag issues, but I also don't want to make my wallet cry. Which version do you recommend? Thanks in advanced!

There's no real change CS wise and they both play the exact same. imo I'd suggest just playing GDO til Spirit Tales goes Open Beta sometime this month.

I did get into the beta for Spirit Tales which is what started me on this path to figure differences out.

I was pretty sure someone was saying stuff about upgrading gear used up more crafting cash shop items in the US version than the Global version. But I'm not sure. :/ Wondering if anyone can verify cash shop issues.

At least STO has way more features then GDO did at OB.

It's about as CS dependent as Eden Eternal. Meaning, no it's not.

STO/GDO are cookie cutter mmos, even more than Eden E. As such , cs isn't much important except if you want be 'the best' on a server. CS items are trade able so both economy and power balance will rely on final adjustments in STO's item mall (cs). It was bad in STO in cb, single enchantment protection item cost ~1$.

About GDO, much lower prices in item mall and lots of asian players ( no offence ). Lots of non-english on world chat (when I was playing). Decent English translation of the client, yet with some engrish present.

I'd recommend waiting for STO (Open Beta late April). You can check GDO in the meanwhile because it's basically almost the same game.
