Been waiting for this for awhile now.
Glad they got most of the updates. Rumor is second classes are coming first update.
So cute :3 Already downloaded, will definitely be playing.
I will play this just for the emotes and dances. Game is too cute. Everyone has paws. So silly.
Oh jeez the cuteness is strong in this one. I want to try out the shaman class.

Played in GDO CB and OB. I didn't play in ST CB, but after thinking about it decided to play it when OB comes. I downloaded the game already, and am ready for tomorrow. I'll be playing a Sorcerer.

I thought the OBT was today because I keep thinking koram is a company based in Malaysia but it's actually tomorrow for me heh.
I didn't lag too much in GDO so it was fine but hopefully one server is hosted on the west coast so I won't lag to much from Australia :D
I'm still tossing up on which class to pick, I'm bored of Fighter and Warrior.. So going either Magic or Hunter route I think.
Looking forward to the opening when 100 people are doing the same quests but I heard they'll have more servers and channels this time so shouldn't be a problem I hope :x

Assassins are pretty good. I only did PvE with them up and around lv35 but i never had a problem with killing any of the solo-boss daily quests which can be pretty hard.
Mage's like in almost all games are pretty OP. Magic cant be evaded. Can have an easily obtainable high magic crit rate. Only big con is low hp. Which of course can be fixed.
Fighters have concussive strike. Nuff said.
Archer is probably the easiest class to solo dungeons. High movement speed is golden, and be sure to get the skill that reduces movement speed. Exploit the maps by running back and stunning or slowing the enemy. You can do this also as a mage, but its easier to get more spd with archer. Your going to want to go the magic skill route as well.
Warriors felt better at tanking to me. But i only played them up until lv30ish so i guess i cant say much on end game. Lots of people pick them, so theyre obviously good. But i never had any trouble with killing them in pvp as a fighter.
This is all from my experience with GDO and its certainly nothing but my own opinion. In pvp, even with crappy gears you can dish out pretty decent damage as a fighter. Charge skill+Concussive can do the job on most classes.
So its up in the air for me. I really want CS (Concussive strike) but i really want to play a ranged character. Ah hell, decisions

Also, if my calculations form CB are right, overpriced item mall will not help at all. They should just capitalize from cosmetic items, which was their basis of advertisement for STO.
They need to realise tho that if they overprice the cash shop in ST then players who are new to ST will just go play GDO and they'll be back to step 1. Getting cash shop currency isn't impossible it's just a bit annoying.
I'm 99% sure about ST being released to pull in more money, you can get alot more value from the cash shop in GDO thanks to the exchange rate.
ST seems to have a more capable team behind it tho, they are already moving ahead of GDO and have said they will be releasing updates rapidly over the next few months.
The staff behind GDO are pretty hopeless, well they were when I played. Once the OBT came out the GM's disappeared and didn't reply.. I just hope ST has a more dedicated team.
I played GDO, got 3 classes to the 2nd class and 40+ got bored and quit. I heard that 45+ is when the cool dungeon start, didn't get into those though.
I did actually buy some CS stuff :/
As long as second classes come around the same time im hitting peak level, ill be alright. I played GDO with no real reason besides pvp for a long time without any real update. Then stayed away from it when the updates come, so it should feel pretty damn new still.
Altho its clearly aimed at making money, i dont blame them. Ill most likely buy some sort of CS set and of course some crystals to help upgrading once im set with purple gear. mwhaha

Logged in for a moment. Enchantment item protection half the price in CB, but reskill (waters of lethe) triple the price. Nice money sink ^^
There several improvements in the gui with some indirect tutorials added. Will check it out after coming back from work...
Is there a way to lock the right-click skill hotkey? It always changes whenever I use a different skill.
