what did you get him?
Ya what did you give him.
He got a list with books that he still needs, so I gave him 3 books on those list. I also made sure that he didn't have them, by going into his 'library' to check :-/
I always feel like shit whenever I have to return a gift ;_; I still have flashbacks of way back when my oldest cousin bought me some pokemon VHS set that I already had, and I just made my mom keep them because I didn't feel right about returning it for something else. Whined like a little ***** to get my way, too.
And are you sure he hasn't read them? He may have got them on loan from a library, or a friend and read them without you knowing.
Did he already have them on order, by chance? It's always awkward when that happens.
^ If so, he should just cancel the ones he ordered and keep the gift.
