Did anyone ever play...

Now, I have been searching ALL over for at least one person who played the same MMORPG as me, and it was my first. The game was 'Ferentus'

I don't know alot about why it shut down, but I know after it did, there was a dutch version I believe named Herrcot and then some other version that came out called Xiones or something like that! But they shut down too. :(

I got really excited when Eownage said they were planning to re release it and promised so much, but apparently they ran out of funds, so it looks like Ferentus is gone for ever, and I wasted months of prowling Eownage forums for progress updates. :(

However just like so many other forums, I can guarantee none of you have ever heard of it. :(

It looks like Legend of Ares sort of. But I never played Ferentus or heard of it lol

I didn't mean you.. At least you did some effort of trying to find out what that game was.. I doubted the others tried. They just clicked replied and raised their post count by 1 more post... If that wasn't your intension well I guess I was wrong.. I am only human..

Ah it's a real shame and in reply to it looking dated it was out in around 2005/2006 so it was good for its time!

It was a very enjoyable game, and had such a big playerbase at the time, yet NO ONE has heard of it, so so so strange! :o

I'd heard of it back when it was first released, but had never played it personally. I knew a few people who did though, and they seemed to think it was good.
