MMO Disappointment
Just saying, I really wish that Runes of Magic was as great as everybody makes it out to be. I spent 6 hours downloading it, await a completely epic game. Then i finally get it installed and patched and within the 1st hour or two I am completely disappointed. 1st off my PC, while its not the best, its not a piece of crap and the game looked terrible. To play it and it look good you must have a very high end machine. 2nd, the controls were terrible as well. They were choppy and laggy and just not very fluid at all. I know thats only two points but seriously i could go on about how it disappointed me. Ok i feel tons better after getting that off my chest (that's what she said lol). What are your thoughts on RoM? Or have you ever been completely disappointed by a game you were anticipating to play?

I must completely agree. Right now i'm stuck using my HP G72 with GMA 4500, Intel dual core 2.3 so its not the best but every other game i play (4 Story, LOTRO, LOL) all run great. I did the WoW private server but it just wasnt the same as retail (i'm to cheap to pay for retail anymore tho lol)

Yeah I was also really disappointed. First because it doesnt run as smoothly as Wow, second because of the cash-shop, third because the warden is a bit of a weak class and I got one with a perna mount :(

I feel kinda stupid bothering to play it. Though, it wasn't a terrible game, imo. It's more interesting and entertaining and had more content than most F2P MMORPGs I've played.

i enjoyed it...a lot...until lvl 10 lol...after the secondary class..all became a nightmare of repeating like insane same 1-2-3-4 keyboard sequencies...for TWO characters while having the fake feeling you're doing it for your same character....confusing and frustrating
lag is not because of computers...i can assure you i have a self made uber computer and i play on a server not far from my country and i lag as hell...the combat is clunky and every single small town with more that 5 players make my graphic card scratch in pain lol...
oh and i can "proudly" call myself a closed beta tester...was one of the first players that logged into that game when OB started...and....with all the frustration it brought me i only managed to get to lvl 25 with one character and 21 with the other....
sad ..sad sad...frustrating and...sad game:(
