New graphics card.

Well that depends what resolution your running at for your games. Most games your probably running at 1920 x 1080 and lower which there is no difference in performance between a 512mb vs 1gb. That extra memory in the 1gb version might be useful if your running at huge resolutions such as 2650x1600. Therefore i would suggest the 512mb unless otherwise.

512mb does fine at 2650x1600 for most of the games on the market.

If you hoping to keep that vidiot card for long time and make sure you can run everything you want you could get the 1gb if there is no big price difference...

If your buying a video card for gaming you should choose nvidia...
