Girls playing games

Well im sure your all well aware of the certain rumor going aroung the gaming community for years. A woman or girl playing a video game im bringing this topic up because when girls go on a game such as black ops and they have a mic on and once they say one word all the male players in the lobby attack with racist remarks, asking them out,or just being very annoying. Why cant people accept women into the gaming community?

Because people suck, and find humor in it. There are people who openly accept and find it as a norm, but it's mainstream to be funny. And everyone wants to follow the leader, even if he's a massive jerk.
