Under 60C CPU idle is normal for laptops, around 65C for GPUs.
Under load, which is ultimately the only thing that matters, should stay under 90C at all times to keep it going for a long time.

Yeah. They like 20 bucks. I really should... but performance drop is almost unnoticeable so I just have not gotten around to it lol.

Imagine: 60°C.
That's just so hot that the pain wont stop from touching, because it doesn't fry skin on contact, but enough to burn you if you do touch it for extended time.
Some of that heat in components is going through your laptops shell.
Inconvenient but not harmful to your laptop.
