NW's cash shop is a joke atm, im just playing to complete all story lines quests and then im gone, not gonna spend a dime in that game, not worth it.

I've only spend my in-game money (gold) on 1 mount and a companion, atm it feels like collecting money in the game have no value at all, more then buy potions, but that you dont really need unless your pve at some points if you r not good at avoiding enemy's,

also, soon as i saw you require astral diamonds to run the auction house, i instantly alt f4'd and uninstalled. never again will i try a PWE game.
Auction house with diamonds only ... Cash shop NPC ingame ... Tarmalune trade bars NPC from which you get those from lockboxes which you need to buy a key from the cash shop . Idiots who overprice items in the auction or just leave it for BID only and you get the item after 4 days when your lvl is way passed the item you wanted and you wont need it anymore .

So no, I don't find the cash shop in this game to be that bad. Other than respec costs I think the game is perfectly fair.
I agree with you Sutasafai, that their cash shop isn't horrible, besides the respec. They are pretty close to getting it right. I think some items are slightly overpriced, but I don't have an issue with most things in the cash shop. Respecs though, I just can't ever like that idea. Especially in a game with PvE and PvP. If I respec 3 times a month, that's more than a subscription based MMO. Yes, I know you can buy Zen with AD in game, but it's hard not to look at that with a monetary value.
problem with people they dont want pay they just want everything hand to them without use there money. Respc your character nothing new nexon does that all the time they give you free Repec event and rusty hearts online.

You don't NEED a respec. Around level 30 you have 2 points in almost every skill. Which the second/third bonuses don't make a huge difference that will impactthe skill majorly.

There is only one paragon path per character so far, and when they release more, if you can't switch without respeccing then yeah that's stupid.
As for the paragon trees, GWF and cleric both are shit, and a wrong decision doesn't ruin you.
If it does, then you're bad and need to learn to play. For example, putting points in damage traits for cleric. I've been out damaged by every other class, my damage skills are weak, I'm sure putting points in damage to increase by 3% won't make it any better.
tl;dr You'll have every skill, and parapaths aren't out yet, para trees are shit. Also you can earn astral diamonds.

Keeping in mind that I haven't played yet, is it true that cash shop mounts are faster than non-cash shop ones? Seems like that'd be a bit of an issue for awhile. Unless the mounts are cheap that is.
Currently on the Mindflayer server AD converts to zen 499 to 1. 35k Ad equates to about 71 zen. I have made 650k AD today selling stuff in the AH. that's over 1300 zen in ONE DAY. All you need to do to convert them is click the button at the top and convert with the amount that you want. Then you wait for someone to buy your AD.

We've had tons of options where they don't do stuff like that. You guys act like we care about money. I don't care about spending money in a game, it's the principal. I also don't care if respecs cost in game gold, I don't need them to be free. The problem is right now they are tied to a cash shop currency, with a fluctuating market. This means right now, a respec might only cost you a day of grinding. However, how much is it going to cost in 3 months, after inflation hits? I remember why I stopped coming to these forums. Instead of legit conversation about why in this day and age, it's ok for something like a respec to be in a cash shop. People just call people children, broke kids, or tell them they think they are entitled. This isn't 2003, f2p models have shifted so so much since then, and just because it was ok then, doesn't make it ok now. You guys act like they have to charge real money for respecs to make a profit, when this has been proven time and time again lately, that this is entirely not the case, and games with entirely cosmetic stuff, make huge profits. This is just a money grab, which is unacceptable in 2013.
