DC Universe Online
I wasn't around MMOs when this first came out. I was in a shooter phase of gaming. Looking to get back to what got me addicted to online gaming for a little bit. How is DC universe online compared to lets say...... Neverwinter. Or Tera for that matter.

To get the full experience of DCUO, you have to pay for the DLCs, the real adventure of that game is leveling to 30. As soon as you get to the instance-based dungeon / farming you'll feel like the game has hit rock bottom. DCUO does have a variety of weapons and skills that can ALL be achieved and respecced at almost any time.
Compared to Neverwinter, the combat isn't as great since I believe Neverwinter to have a great pvp system. Neverwinter has a class imbalance as opposed to DCUO, seriously a terrible class imbalance. It also has a more obvious pay-2-win agenda and it seems like a game out to get your money and eventually close. Other than that just DCUO, the overall game experience is quite nice and the adventure is what really matter. End game will just suck due to what I've said. It also has a custom made story making quests that players can enjoy but due to recent nerfs they reap little to no rewards. Neverwinter also limits you to like 5 skills to use and cycle through.
Tera takes the cake when it comes to combat. Tera's combat isn't as fast paced as DCUO or Neverwinter, but you get a wide variety of skills to use for every unique job as usual. The PVE expereience in my opinion stomps both Neverwinter and DCUO, a much larger open world maps than Never winter and more places to explore than DCUO. An easy economy to get into a opposed to both of the other games. Not as p2win as Neverwinter, great graphics if you like that kind of artwork. More of a grindfest compared ot the other games but it isn't even slow lmao.
Each of the games have a nice leveling pace and their own kind of adventure that overall will kill time. You can easily reach end-game in all of them but by far Tera's end game > DCUO and Neverwinter (my opinion), DCUO is by far the most unique, and Neverwinter has a pretty great pvp feel.
I would recommend Neverwinter and Tera over DCUO!
