I just started playing and find the game awesome... I checked out some of the companions and imo the Laughing Skull looks fun to play. It might not be the most powerful but the powers Burning insult and Severe Burn remind me of the old game Planescape: Torment character Monty. That was one of my favorite games along side Baldur's Gate, and if the Glorious Lockbox ever comes back in game I'm going to pump a little money to find it for sure!

Ideal pet ability would be Deathtouch LOL.

Does the companion have to exist? If not my ideal pet would be a Beholder who had some sort of paralyze, or stone gaze.

Out of the ones that exist I really like the Grazilaxx with his psychich blast! Illithids are really cool looking creatures. Thank you!

I think that a pretty cool companion to have would be a Lich that could have the ability to summon a spirit for a few seconds after you kill something. :p
