Onrpg should just switch to reddit.
Since most of the old post are gone and hardly anyone is on here. Though, leave the front page/articles/reviews/giveaway stuff.
I mean who here plays airsoft?

Reddit is meh
maybe go ahead and link to whatever subreddit or whatever we're gonna try n use instead of saying "maybe we do this" :]
be a man of action
Ehh.. but I was never a man of action on here. But about that airsoft man those are fun. You get to legally shoot at people and it's cheaper and stealthier than paintball.
Oh, crap there was one https://www.reddit.com/r/Onrpg/
I didn't know r/MMORPG was a thing, but I can't say I care about MMOs anymore.
ONRPG was a fun discussion. Using the subreddit seems too pigeon-holed into discussion about new content and new releases.
We're considering new options to our forum/community here, but we have other priorities we need to knock out first.
Still - if there's something you all want or want to suggest, please let us know - I've been taking notes.
First things first, this place is an eyesore. lol.
Just looks super outdated and boring.
Nobody cares about OnRPG anymore, we don't even do popular giveaways. No developer says, "Get keys on OnRPG!!" anymore... nobody cares about this place, and I'm not even sure you could google anything except the keyword OnRPG to bring you to these forums. Our SEO sucks.
Our front page of the website is terrible. Our forums are outdated, and we have a bunch of people with the most obnoxious signatures, just ruining browsing here via mobile completely.
Maybe allow Guests to post on the boards again.
Add a max size to signatures.
Change the entire forum layout to have less sections, more clean look (kind of like Reddit layout, because ppl like that shit).
Drop content and have some incentives for people to post here.
Giveaways from commenting, or something like that.
Just remove the front page of OnRPG. Make the website dedicated to being a discussion community.
Have the Youtube and live streams actually playing MMORPGs.
Dedicate a large portion of OnRPG to Mobile MMOs. Mobage games (which Steparu likes to call them) are the future of MMOs. Games like RO, Lineage 2, DOFUS, and FlyFF have already converted. The market is huge for mobile MMOs, and it's expanding. OnRPG made its mark when MMOs were expanding and growing, only makes sense for our second breathe to be riding the new wave: Mobile MMOs.
Get close to developers. Get keys, giveaways, bonuses, guides: Beta ; beta ; betas! We strived from beta news before.
Remember OnRPG had a hold on one MMORPG niche, Foreign MMOs. Yet again, foreign MMOs are leading the mobile MMO market. We can be the first for a real community surrounding new releases and information for Foreign Mobages.
Make sure the forum runs on mobile, and runs on mobile NICEEEE.
Maybe have an app for OnRPG. I personally hate tapatalk, so having our own app imo would be better, but OnRPG definitely needs to work on Tapatalk, because it's the most popular forum app.
TL;DR
Realistic changes:
Signature size limit,
Removing front page,
Allow Guest posting (w/ recaptcha),
Focus on Mobile MMOs and Mobile Foreign MMOs,
Reach out to developers,
Make Onrpg boards run smooth on mobile,
Youtube and stream focus on new MMORPGs/Mobile MMOs/MOBAs ONLYYY
Difficult changes:
Entire new board layout,
Personal app
That's true. You can scratch that from my post. I know we do, but I was slightly vindictive while writing that, just because none of the giveaways have been for games I care about.
MissyS has been doing an amazing job lately. Since before, around 2 months ago, that giveaway section was fairly dead.
What has been done to this forum.
Forums have a hard time because of sites like Facebook and other social networks which try to crush the 'small' guy.
Social media sites have always been around, and there are still a lot of active Forums on the web, just not as popular as 4Chan or Reddits setup.
I mean, OnRPG tried to create their own social network, what was it called, MMOFaces?
Forums are still good :)
I think this site still needs its own forum.
