What I like most About the Ravenloft Update
I like the dream pastries quest storyline a lot. Its a carryover from the D&D 5th Edition Curse of Strahd campaign book.
The quest storyline goes something like this:
3 hags moved into an old windmill and have begun selling "dream pastries" to Barovian Citizens. These pasteries are enchanted and when a person eats one, they fall asleep and dream of a heavenlike safe place, a place free of the misery and monsters that torment them when they are awake.
Many townsfolk of Barovia have become addicted to these pastries and you are sent to the mill to investigate what is going on.
You end up fighting and killing the hags and you also find out that one of the essential ingredients of these pastries is the ground up bones of a child with a soul. The hags have gotten some buyers so addicted to these pastries that they end up selling their children to the hags to be slaughtered for more pastries.
Ravenloft news in the mist
What i like in Ravenloft its the making of reference at the D&D tabletop game there are in quests and NPC all over the map.
