WoW is the centre for bad experiences.
Hunters rolling on +healing gear, feral druids rolling on weapons with procs, people getting pissed of with shaman for rolling on leather armour with +healing.
The list goes on.
Word for the wise: if you are easily annoyed, don't play WoW.
Coh was the first p2p game and i have to say one of my favorite and realy liked the fact that when i start was first day of release lol everyone turned out to be very friendly and chatty and alot of people still are! you get the odd few.
But that aside the game is greate too very orignal hard to explain realy you have to play it, also you dont mind paying for the game because you see what your money gets spent on server upgrade and free content expansions 7 so far! and soon the 8th expansion will be released.
Cov on the other hand is ok too but i never felt it compared to the City of Heros.
Coh/cov is also run by the most community active GM'S/Dev's i have ever seen well next to eve-online.
Well i will stop blagging about this game now as im sure someone feels the oppite to me and will flame me in the next post lol.
I think I quit Runescape because someone owned me in Wilderness. Then my graphics card started dying while playing SCO.... I thought my computer was breaking. Pixels were flying everywhere.
Worst experiance in a MMORPG?
Only one I can really remember was in PT, playing my priestess, in that forest place (the morian? side of the halfway point)
So I'm healing and keeping everyone alive, when an enemy aggros onto me, kills me, and when I respawn I find out I was kicked from the team...
Oh well, I'm pretty sure that team ended up running away quickly after that
Its not WOW or any other game specificaly that has crazy kids or bad looting manners ect its every game if you try to play alone, and get pub groups from town ect. All the games are much more fun if you have a guild of friends to play with everyday. WOW is great if you never play witht he crazy kids (which there are tons) but its like that everywhere. What I would suggest is playing games with your friends or trying to make some good friends within a game and weed out the insanity :)
One of my bad experiances was playing Guild Wars and we were farming Ghial's and i died and Ghials staff dropped for me and they didnt res me and they waited till it was lootable i got so pissed off lol. But i still play guild wars.
I have always had luck with MMORPGs - the only bad thing that happend to me was that i quitted playing WoW because you had to invest to much time into it - from that point on i started playing free mmorpgs but after playing them for a few hours they already turned into pure grinding for getting exp. They all got boring because u had to kill the same type of monster for hours to lvl up once
i really liked WoW because of the Quests, the Dungeons and the different areas in that 'World' - but in the end it would have become a hunt for equipment, spending several hours in a dungeon just to get on piece for a piece of ur armor set, so i stopped playing it
