No one knows! Mwahahahha! ...Seriously...if you want a game that plays like fable and gives you character development, there's like...three for the PS2 that I know of. I can't think of their names, but I can think of the box art [even though that doesn't help].
I'd say Onimusha is like Fable in that it's more or less an action game and you upgrade your skills... But, if you really want to find a game like Fable for PS2, well, my friend, I'm afraid you're SOL.
I liked it, you run around and fight monsters, level up, find items, sell useless ones to get gold. Pretty much like any other RPG.
