AMD CPU? then get a AMD motherboard that fits it, basicly, switching the motherboard means changing everything, and it's gonna cost alot... not sure if buying a new computer is better if ur motherboard is broken.

Either way - The nForce 500 is promising, tends to have decent drivers, (that board in particular), and will probably keep you good in the market for atleast another year. Hope this helps. :3
