GoonZu Online, free MMORPG for life.
GoonZu
GoonZu Online is an MMORPG that is based in economics. The game is created by NDOORS and it's completely free, except the item mall (more information later). GoonZu is popular in Korea and Japan and now it has been released outside Korea and Japan via the new worldwide Zeus-Server.
It's easy to get started if you understand English, but those that do not understand English may find themselves stuck in certain places in the game. Graphics are good and GoonZu works very well with old computers. The sounds of the game have a unique Asian style to them, but they work very well. There aren't many bugs in GoonZu but you can sometimes find some on occaision. Usually, they are fixed because the game is updated constantly you can choose what weapon you will start to use by reading that book of weapon you like. There are guns, bows and canes for long-range weapons and close combat weapons like axes, spears and swords. You can choose Western or Eastern character, Western characters can use some special weapons and armour which Eastern characters can't and vice versa. When you first start the game, an NPC named Sarah gives you quests automatically and it really helps to get started on learning the basics needed to enjoy and understand the game. The game also have a mentor system, which helps if you don't understand something or you have something to ask, you can press ALT+T, during gameplay and there will pop-up mentor list. Mentors are other payers who are there to help new players. There's also other options to find help, such as going to the country list and looking for other players that are in the same country as you.
Once you get a hang of the game, there are many places for you to explore and hunt for monsters All towns have hunting grounds which have many monsters and usually just a few people killing them, so it's a popular option to go for if you don't want to risk getting killed in the harder dungeons located on the map. Hunting monsters can be tedious due to the fact that certain features like special attacks have not been implemented yet, so for now all you need to do to attack monsters is just click the enemy and let your character kill it. When you reach a higher level in the game you can wear different armour, helmets, belts and shoes for defence and movement speed. Leveling up will be easy during the first 50 levels, but after that it gets extremely boring and hard, unless you use the party system. Parties allow you to team up with other players to fight similar monsters and share some valuable experience as well. The communication system is also unique to Goonzu, where you can use seperate chat for parties, towns, and guilds.
There are also several jobs in the game you can take, such as summoning monsters, crafting various tools and weapons, fishing and farming for food to sell on the market and raising and training horses. You can also be a minister (responsible for setting the regulations of the server and hiring police officers and guardian angels), a police officer (responsible for reporting any foul mouthed or misbehaving players) or a guardian angel (responsible for looking out and protecting new players). Players also choose the GoonZu, which is considered as the king (or queen) of the server. For those that enjoy player versus player modes, Goonzu has several PvP options such as Town versus Town and Guild versus Guild. Game is always kept lively because of the game master that keeps it exciting and fun by throwing on all sorts of events for players to enjoy. There is Dark Army event where players kill various monsters and whoever has highest score wins the event and receives valuable treasures and prizes. There is also Town Invasion where players must protect some random town from attacking monsters sent by the game master. The game is free except the optional item mall where you can trade in real money for G-Coins and buy different items such as clothes or horses.

GoonZu is great and carefully made MMORPG and free to play. If you're looking for a new MMORPG game to play, try out Goonzu. There's not too many players on it at the moment, but it's still alot of fun.
