Depends on what you're torrenting. If you're using it to illegally download a game, then yeah, it's illegal; but if you're using it as just a download manager or to torrent things you already have or have bought, then it's ok. You just need to have proof of your purchase.Quote:

Yes, I'm not a torrent guru. So all the assholes on this thread, permission to flame.
But before I go about reading that entire guide, what is an average download rate everybody is getting using BitTorrent? It's very hard for me to get anything that runs faster than 20kb/s. I'm not sure if it's the client, port, or whatever all of those are that's causing me to run slow.. or if it's my settings, or what.
