Half the games on the first list are dead or junkies. You should remove the dead games and merge list 1 and 2. The list would be shorter and easier for people to scroll through.

I've not heard of GameGuard included in GTH, but your computer should be able to run just fine with GTH installed just as long as you have:
-CPU: PII 350 MHz or more.
-RAM: 256 MB RAM or more.
-Graphics card: 16 mb (ATI or NVIDIA recommended, but not required) Sound card compatible sound blaster DirectX v8.0

Gameguard itself is not part of GTH, but the code for gameguard is implemented into the client.
Hm... if it has Gameguard I'm not able to play... it's a shame...
At least give it a shot, I think you will be able to play it. I wonder why your computer freezes when you play a game with Gameguard coding. Try playing with your firewall turned off.
It has nothing to do with firewall. I made every single test I could and couldn't find an answer, so, I decided to not play games with Gameguard, besides, I don't agree the way Gameguard works like a rootkit, it's too harmful to the system.
Well like I said, gameguard itself isn't part of GTH, only the coding used in gameguard was applied to the client. So hopefully it will work out for you. If not, I can try to speak to the technical team and see if we can find a solution.
It won't work, Gameguard.des running means my computer freezing. And I don't agree with the way Gameguard works. The only way for me to play GTH is making GG to not run or the publisher choosing another anti-hack like XTrap or HackShield that are not rootkits.
As a advanced computer user I don't want any rootkits running under my system. I'm sorry but I really hate GG with all my strengh.
If I can confirm for you that Gameguard.des does not run on GTH, would that be ok?
Every game that uses Gameguard for protection runs along with Gameguard.des, all of them has a Gameguard folder and a Gameguard.des and a Gamemon.des that run invisible on the background, only a few better task managers can see they running. Do you know how Gameguard works? You should verify before publishing a game.

Besides I want to buy a Logitech G series keyboard and Gameguard conflicts with it.
I don't publish the game, I only support it and help in any way I can to keep it going.
Two questions:
Do you own Windows Vista? If so, I can ask the tech team to apply a patch that will allow users to use it with Windows Vista.
Do you use Windows XP and not english? It says that some versions of GameGuard do not cooperate with english versions. If so, I can ask the tech team to use a gameguard coding that is compatible with non-english Windows XP users.
I'll also ask about the Logitech G series keyboard and find out why that conflicts with Gameguard code.

I use Windows XP Portuguese BR version, it's an old version with no activation, fully updated and with a valid serial.
But I don't think you understood. I don't play games with Gameguard not only because it freezes my computer, I don't play games with Gameguard because I don't want to install rootkits.
I will try talking to the tech team and see what can be done, perhaps we can use different coding not associated with gameguard and that doesn't include a rootkit. If I can find a way to make it so that rootkits are not involved, would that be alright? I can't promise anything, but I can at least try and see what can be done, if anything at all.

You might try to show them HackShield, it's another protection with no rootkits and cheaper also. XTrap is another solution but, some people complain about problems even with some USB keyboards, I have no problem at all with XTrap but I'm not egoist. HackShield might be a better solution.
I have good news. Here is the conversation I had with the technical support:

there is no rootkit in the client

Ok so even though there is gameguard coding in the client, there is no rootkit?

gameguard code is inactive

The only reason I ask is because one person really wants to play, but is really against gameguard and rootkits getting near his computer

Well he would never know if there was any rootkit in the client anyway. Since it will be heavily encrypted data.

But im removing alot of crap code in the client anyway, so he doesn't need to worry. There is no rootkit.
