P4 or Pentium D?

Ok, i found out today that my pc processor could be upgraded to something alot better (running Celeron 3.2 ghz atm) and im tryin to find something good,but affordable.

This is my motherboard

Which one is better? and is there anything better for not alot more?

Also will they run off a PS, 300 Watt power supply?
