I am photoshop newbie. I hv a problem.
Everytime i wan to change the black background picture to other effect, eg: filter-->render-->different cloud
The colour run away.
It suppose to be black and white but end it been brown grey.

Can anyone help me out
Make sure that you're foreground color is black and the background is white, press G to reset them, also the background picture has nothing to do with the cloud filter effects, but that screenie looks about right although the clouds are a bit light colored, if all else fails make white the foreground by pressing X
