Parents separated

I'm turning 18 soon and i was wondering if i could get access to the money that i receive monthly from my dad. Since i live with my mom, my dad is suppose to send money monthly to support me, my education, etc. I am suppose to receive this money until i finish my education. Now my mom has access to this but since i am now turning 18 in 3 days, i wanted to know if things changed after turning 18.

Ask your mother about this ^^ you never know if she used it already for school stuff etc....
