Are you kidding? Getting a copyright is free, all you need to do is copy your work onto paper. Simple as that. If you're talking about a trademark, that's a whole different case entirely. Hell, you'd be better off having someone write up the application for you, but that's where you lose the money. What is it that you want though? The two are entirely different.
