The Utena movie

Anyone here seen 'Revolutionary Girl Utena: Adolescence Rush'?
It's the trippiest piece of art I've EVER seen.
And I love it ever so.
It reminds me of an elegant 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' in a way, since there's gender bending and a message about being free.
It also has deep scenes that really get to you.
Compared to the tv series and graphic novels, I think this is the best telling of the Utena story...

Yup, saw it. Was even trippier than the god damned series. Especially the car part. Lmao.

Still - gotta love it for it's artfulness.

I love how they're playing a remix of 'The Absolute Destiny Apocalypse' as Utena is being transformed into a car through a magical car wash.
