I like Anime. So no, I don't despise it. So yes, I do not despise it. Which in turn, leads me to believe that you think what I'm thinking you're thinking is that I'm thinking you're thinking I'm thinking you're thinking about how many other people might like anime.
No I don't despise Anime. I watch it all the time, I think it's a lot better then the cartoons we have on tv now.
I'm not big on cartoons, so no, I don't like anime.

It's a rarity to even watch anime for me, they seem to appeal to the younger crowd/otaku (I don't want to get into that). But I've come across some japanese animation movies that I do enjoy from time to time such as Akira, Princess Monoke, and Vampire Hunter D.

As for the other movies you mentioned, I think Miyazaki did them. That guy is a total genius.
It all depends on how loose of a definition you have for cartoon. A cartoon can be anything from an animated series to a comic strip. Granted, anime is unlike most other cartoons, but technically, it falls into the category.Quote:

Yes i love anime :D . Those who don't like or love anime, thats fine too. But i don't get why certain people discrimate against us who like anime. It is beyond me :confused:

i enjoy watching anime its funny when people critisize anime when they have never watched it,or they say it sucks by watching any random episode not the first one.
and some anime have pretty wicked story lines and names of chi and stuff,on the ninja type animes.heh
Anime is like a teenage fairy tale, always ends with a 'happily ever after'. I hate those kind of genres of anime, Cowboy Bebop ftw. And yeah, i'm still an anime fan.
I watch it, though i think its becoming a cult.
I like it. I don't see how to dispise it.
