I want to go to a private school, since my regular public school kinda sucks.
What is it like in a private school? Any different from public schools beside paying and wearing uniforms?

ITS ALOT HARDER
ALOT stricter
ALOT = HOLY SH1T ITS F*CKING WTF WTF!!1SH1T!!
If you're planning on join one, at least find one that has a reputation of good professors and demanding teaching.
Might be hard, but it's worthwhile.
I like public schools :D
That's one of the things that makes it so good really.Quote:
overcrowded hallways
Yeah and people in public school are usualy alot nicer too and i heard private school had snooty kids and jerks -_-
If the private school has a good background for excellence, why not.
So what if it does have a background of exellence doesnt mean its good.
Btw private schools have to pray to god[jesus]
I just want to go to a private school, to avoid a type of people. ( I don't want to talk too much about it)
Also, is there any private school that is less than 12,000 a year? I want a school that can teach and also have the record of the LEAST suspensions.
Private schools are just uniforms, strict rules, and quiet hallways/classrooms.
Public schools are better.
Trust me on this. There are idiots EVERYWHERE. And there are quite a few on private schools too.Quote:
But there are idiots around in public schools..
I know this is not a economic issue but I want to mention this.
Statistics, have proven that Private schools are superior to Public in many way.
1. Less fights
2. Less suspensions or expulsion
3. Students that want to learn.
4. Better grade results
5. Better dress
6. Less bullying
7. Kids that use proper words in a sentences.. not like ( " Man that shit is so old, *****.)
8. Religious reasons has better affect and tolerance.
Ever been to a private school? Cause mine sure as hell ain't quiet. People are always doing shit in the hallways and disrupting class. We raced down the hall with our computer chairs today during last period. We don't have uniforms either really, but we always got to wear a collared shirt and jeans. No shorts allowed. The rules are more strict but they don't really get enforced. Classes are way easier here too. I went from failing everything in public schools to all B's and C's. We go to chappel which is basically like church every wednesday morning, but everyone just talks to eachother the whole time we don't really have to listen or anything. We also get out earlier than all of the public schools in my area. The only sucky things about it is they force you to take some classes like speech and either band or chorus and the crappy dress code. Oh and I forgot to mention they are really strict as far as hair goes. If it gets too long they make you get a haircut which is probably like the worst rule they have.
That's only because of the constant repression that so happens in those schools. They can hardly breath without anyone knowing. The better results happen as well sometimes not because of better teaching, but easier teaching. But if you so want to study in such environment, who am I to stop you?
I do wish you the best of luck.
Unless you're going to a private school because of it's religious affiliation, then I strongly suggest look into college accredited schools, also known as college prep. schools. They're the cream of the crop of private schools, offering educations above and beyond that of public schools and inspected yearly in order to ensure that they meet the standards that allow them to that title.
what is the reason make you really want to go into private school anyway?
i mean i have been in both private/public school, the only difference i can see is the people background, not the student/teacher quality.
and i doesnt really like some of the wealthy kid in my old private school who keep whining his dad got him the brand new things things and stuff...... but that doesnt really much difference..
if you look at the finical point of view, i will say public school does seem to offer the best value since its free... (or maybe some fee? doesnt really know about other public school)
You're going to private school based on opinions of people who sit on there ass and play video games?
Can't get opinions that are more honest than ours, we tell it how it is, and you we're unique, what we're on? you can't smoke it, you can't sniff it, because we were born with it.
On Topic:
I've been in a private school all my life, all through elementary the dress code was strict, we didn't have to do anything religious because down here in Mexico church and school are separated. But now that I'm in high school I'm in a different private school, a lot higher grade of education, the students here are generally drunks that are willing to learn and there are uniforms, but we are allowed to wear sandals and have our hair whichever style we want.
If you're going to enroll in a public school the best thing to do first is consider you options, because not all of them are actually good.
well my cousin goes to this private skool but then you sorta only need to wear a uniform during PE or something
and man, you need a lot more equipments (binders,paper,duotangx10..etc) there and lots of hw i think....
but i heard ppl in private skools are nicer too lol
Private Schools are a pathetic excuse to get people to pay for supposedely better education. Only the gullable, ignorant or famous bother with these pointless establishments.
I have to wear a uniform, and I go to a public School.
All I have to say is,public school has ****ed my life up.And I'm not gonna go into details. If I had a choice I'd say public schooling. Why don't you just move to another school?
No public school is the same...
No private school is the same...
I go to a private school, I've gone to 3 (due to the fact that I changed city every 4-5 years) and I've liked all of them, obviously there was a better school and a worst school.
It just depends and at the end of the day it's not the figures that count, it's the people that go to the school...so you'll never know if you'll like it until the very end.
