It's best not to game whilst downloading dear, or tell us that you pirated the software. it will result in uneven pings throughout as the download/upload rate increases and decreases.
But if you have to download and game, then set the download and upload rate to the lowest you can spare.
It might not be much, but you're still downloading when you're gaming.
