i dont think i;ve ever seen ess posting about something else then PW untill now .. xD lol
You know there is a to buy patch for nwn 2 coming, which is suppose to make it like nwn1! You know how sweet that would be?
(Since Atari messed up nwn 2 pretty much, but hey, they didnt make nwn1 so it is ok, they are putting alot of patches/effort up to make it like nwn1 for their community)
I would not leave my room for another 5 years... xD... I mean..omg... a dream come true.
Hmmm.... i'd go with SWG, BEFORE the lame NGE that ruined the game. Back when the game was actually unique.
Flame = That pretty little flickering hot reddish yellow light thingy that causes you hurt if you touch it? xD
Best fantasy games would have to be the NWN series! (as of up till now)
Oblivion is good, too.
For MMOs, I actually have no idea. All of them seems to be sub-par with good Fantasy RPGs. So I'm not going to pick the best of out a pile of junk.
Final fantasy 1 threw Infinity. You didn't say MMO O_o. But Ive gotta say this, the Asian MMORPG market does not know how to make a decent RPG.
I love DDO. I swear, it's the best MMO I've played.
The only problem is that if you really don't have friends, it can get pretty boring. Me and my friends played the trial once. It was hella fun doing quests.
I'm telling you, DDO is pretty underrated.
Phantasy Star online, its fantasy with a PH. :p
Why, the final one of course.
Chrono Trigger.
I still play that game time to time. Loved the story and the gameplay and the tech's and how it was layed out was very well thought out for its time. The ability to use 1 skill in a way to attack 3 enemies at once considering how your enemies were positioned in a battle.
But the battles were easily avoidable if you knew what you were doing and just aswell you were able to bypass alot of things if you did the right things.
Which kind of drew back. But in the time and date that the game was released it was a very well thought out and great piece of RPG history in my opinion. I have yet to play another RPG that even brought me 1/2 as much joy as Chrono Trigger did. The game was ahead of its time in my opinion.
