I guess my first question is...what are the odds of a new X-Box coming out? I know, its a next gen console...but, it seems like the 360 is mad old to me? As I post this, I feel stupid for even asking...but, it concerned me.Not for a while, will there be a new X-Box. Don't worry bout it.
Are there any RPG's for the 360? Anything thats NOT a FPS? I mean, I love HalfLife and Halo...but, I need some toned down games too. Viva Pinata looks really good to me, hows that?Oblivion is a good RPG, Phantasy Star Online is pretty fun, FFXI is always good. Blue Dragon, from what I've heard, is great. There are plenty of RPG's on the 360, they just don't always get as much attention as the FPS's do. Don't know about Viva Pinata though. =\
How does X-Box Live work? Is it a monthly thing, or yearly? You can buy cards at a store, that give you a month, 3 months, or a year. Or you can put a credit card on your account and pay yearly. It is about 50$ a year, plus extra for all the shit you buy on there(maps, videos, etc)
Are there any accessories that are MANDATORY for me to be satisfied with the console?Headset, but I'm assuming you're going to get the Premium, so it'll already come with it. Don't be a dumbass and get the Core, because the Core sucks balls. Big ones. It doesn't come with a hard drive, which is a pretty big deal. Another accessory you could think about getting is a keyboard. That's pretty optional though, unless you're lookin to get somethin like FFXI or PSU.
Anything I should know before hand? Like, do all the old X-Box games work on the 360? Is it still malfunctioning like it used to? The new ones, as far as I know, don't overheat like the old ones. They do however, have a chance to get the red ring shit. I still haven't gotten it, but Microsoft gives you a 3 year warranty the moment you buy your 360. Also, DO NOT move your 360 while playing a game. It will scratch the shit out of the disk inside. So, if you got it standing on its side, be careful so it won't fall. Or you could buy a stand. Also, most of the famous/good original x-box games work on the 360. They have a list on the 360 website. They're adding more as time goes by I think. =\
Thanks guys :3
