They are still trying to keep the path to P2P open, by making it a limited time offer --- "if you register before this date, you can play at least 2 years for free".
I wonder whether they are going to add a cash shop, or just going back to P2P in March hoping that a few free players will boost their community and add enough life to their (probably, or else they wouldn't bother with F2P) deserted world to get the P2P kicking...
Well, I'm going to inquire about the PK situation in the game nonetheless. Maybe it's worth trying.
I just looked on the website of this game and the game doesnt even look all that good to be fully honest. I doubt I will try this. But if anyone has a review of this game and would like to hear some stuff about it.
I don't find this game appealing at all, looks very dull and judging by the images the gameplay doesn't look very interesting. I don't see why they would be P2P comparing it to other games out there, especially when MMOs are starting to have cash shops. Someone prove me wrong?
No disrespect to the creators of the game, but I don't see why they made it P2P in the first place. It's not P2P material IMO.
Looks like you cant register for the game until the 23rd
"The information needed to join Irth Online will be updated when we go Free Play November 23, 2007"
and trust me, they had a free trial thing at one point or something.
i tried this game.. it's NO GOOD. At all
its like a wannabe vanguard (which still sucks) and everquest 2.
its so slow
I have to say; it looks really awful, just look at the screenshots.
And the site, it's HORRIBLE. Really it looks like one of those freewebs premade sites with just their own banner. Looks more like a private server for a game/homemade game site.. But maybe the gameplay is good :P Doesn't give lots of information.
Haha, I read the title as "Itch world".
It looks reeeally budget. I'm surprised they had the balls to make this p2p; doesn't look innovative at ALL. "Homegrown" games are fine as p2p, but only when they offer up a solid idea.
Well dunno. Im still gonna try it since I aint playing any mmo a lot atm :p
I will definitely try this which I wanted to play for long time :P
i remember when it first came out
it had a bigass hype down the street at mmorpg.com
i laughed so hard cuz the gfx sucked so bad LMAO
might try it out:p
