New TV, but which one?
Guys, need your advice here.
So my girlfriend and I were playing Wii sports when the strap broke and completely shattered my 1000$ 40' LCD. Great. Wasn't her fault though, and our insurance covers it, so no biggie.
Here's the real problem. At best buy this week, and have two options of fairly high quality 1000$ TV's. One is a Westinghouse LCD 42'. The other is a 56' Panasonic rear projection TV.
Now, will the rear projection TV have a poorer picture than the LCD? Do you think it would be worth it to have a bigger TV with a poorer picture, if the picture isn't as good?
Thanks ^_^

Hmm. .They should be showing the TV Preview in stores, so just check the stored, and look at the previews

well Id go with the one with the clearer image, (LCD'S) LCD's are really good for games and such, so I say The LCD!

I'd go for the LCD, if you want a nice picture, because the projection would have a poor picture I think. Less chance of breaking it though.
But then again I'm no TV salesman.

LCD and hang it up on the wall :P Hang it a little high so when the strap from the WII more breaks again it will fly against the wall instead of the TV :P
