And why do you think that is? Because violence is hardly sensored. You see violence all the time on practically every show. But if a girl takes her top off, uh-oh, it automatically becomes pornography.

I personaly cant stand sensorship, and believe that if parents took a little bit more responsibility instead of just popping their kids down on the couch for the day and use the TV as a babysitter while they are at work, we wouldnt have to have so much sensorship on TV.

Unfortunately, too many parents won't take responsibility.

My response, limit sexual and violent shows to past 9 o'clock no matter what time zone, and continue giving proper warnings before the show starts.

I definitely think sex should be restricted. It disgusts me and shakes me to the core when I walk down the street and hear 6 year olds singing Pussycat Dolls songs

Interesting point. I didn't think about songs. However, this seems to be something that should be the responsibility of parents. Radio censorship is pretty strong, even to the point where they censored the word "gun" in one song. Course, the problem is the slang and innuendo. A lot of songs that seem really innocent are actually quite preverted. So, once again, parents should be looking out for these kinds of things. It's unreasonable to expect musicians to tone down their stuff just so that little Billy won't hear about some thugs busting a cap in Johny Law's ass, but it is reasonable for them to put very clear warnings about the content (which they do) and expect parents to pay attention to such labels (which isn't always the case).

-.-when a kid sees violence he would just think "KOOL, that was just like on that power rangers show!" and when a kid sees sex he would just say "daddy,is that man fighting the woman?" so it doesn't really matter what we show kids coz they won't even understand what is going on-.-

I think they both should be, access to these things is far too readily available to small children.

I would have to say sex..Cause at my school there are 37 ppl preganant and 7 of'em are 6th graders!

Amen to Roon! But like, my 10 year old cousins go to bed at 10, so instead of 9, i think 10 would be a more suitable time.
And i think they should ban all Rap videos off T.V.

I think no matter the age, it should be violence, although both are happening everyday in our society, sex is more excepted.

Your kids are going to have sex eventually (well good chances), and you have no problem with that really, but you dont want your kids to eventually become violent and hurt people.

sex is necessary for the survival of mankind, so there's no reason to hide the truth from children. violence, however, is not necessary for life, so that should be restricted if i was forced to make the choice. but otherwise, i think violence is ok as well.
