Being verbal abused

Wow, first time I asked for advice on this thread.


About 3 weeks ago, my uncle moved in, and he dud what he does best, smoke,sleep, eat, and talk on the phone, everything was normal, but today he pissed me off BADLY.


This isn't the first time, when he staye dhere, he slept in my bed, causing me to sleep on the floor. Which I wanted to kill him for. But today he gave me such harsh verbal abuse.

My father died June 2007. Whiche was a pnch in the face for everyone in our family.


Today, whenhe was fixing pipes, mom was at the hospitol for an incident, the water pille dn the floor, he made water spill on the floor, told me to clean it up, saying 'I mst not have been listening to my father cause I bet all you do is nothing to help this house'. That hurt. Badly, but I showed no emotion, and said nothing.

After that, he fixe dthe pipes and stuff then I sai d'You fixed it? Without the thing that holds it' he tells me 'Yea, unlike you, I looked at my dad fixed pipes'

Then, he isults mme, and mom's cooking when he cooked today, he said ' You cook wrong without adding any grease to it, thats hwy that burger you made waas dry, an mom adds too much to hers, mine is just perfect' That made want to take those red beans he cooked, dumpe dthem in his hair, then take the frying pan and whack him unil he gets into a coma.

The last insult that I took, is when Mom was comming back, he told me to wash didhes, I washed them, nd sat back down in my room, he said ' You didn't wash them' I sai d'Yes I idd' 'I do not see what eevyropne see in you, you do absolutely nothing in this house, you help nobody;.'


So I'm here, asking on how to get rid of him from her,e he has a strike against him, I could get him out of here for allthe thigns I have told you guys, please tell me what to do.

Fix your spelling, then kick his ass/confront him. But of corse I would kick hiss ass, but that might not be a good choice, at all.

a lawsuit would fit perfectly in this case. He has no reason to live in with you, and i suppose he has an house of his own.
as long as you can proof you can handle all the things that happen, he is bound to leave the house.
and since it's the second time he lives with you, i suppose he leaves after some time, just keep your temper untill then. It's worth the wait...

I dont think you should let him talk to you like that stand up for yourself and if he does anything then get him and your mom together and talk about what he did.
and who cares if he doesnt have a car get some money so he can take the bus home.

I did the same when my aunt and uncle moved in, because they were moving.
They thought they could own the place, and sling about the fact that my dad had left my family for another family.

At the time I was about 11, can't remember exactly what I did. I think I just got everything out, shouted my tiny lil' bollocks off, castrated them with my words xD

They ended up going down my uncle's mums.

So yeah, show him that you're not some little kid he can throw about. He's doing what all bullies do, except he has an advantage - he knows your weak spot. Got anything on him? At all?

Maybe play on the fact that he's a grown man and he's living in your house?

Personally, I probably would have ran away by now or restored my mana and poisoned him. But that's me.

You are a minor, right?
In that case, you wont be making your own decisions about anything in your life for quite some time.
Before you go and tell anyone what you have a problem with, I sugest you realy wait that you calm down, if its something bother you very much even wait a day ("dont hesitate from saying that you did that too"), before you talk to anyone about it. Just wait till you feel calm and able to talk about it without getting worked up.
Think a little of what to say and if you can come up with any suggestions how to make things better and how you can make people see that this is realy important to you (starting off simple as saying "this is important").

Do not start a fight about it. Do avoid getting realy worked up and if you cant, just say, that this is bothering you realy much and dont continue to try to explain it. If others get devensive towards you or start to break of a fight just ignore them if you can and keep doing your thing. If it doesnt help stop the conversation.

This is about how you behave, so that people take you serious. It might be not that easy to follow, but only going half way, is already an increase.

If all this shows no sign of effect, you can still pull the *getting realy mental* card. It wont be bad if you had the image of being mad with the situation established before already. So you wont come of as a little kid, that just yells and crys and whines all over the place, because it dint get what it wants. Youd have a much better standing as a person that has made his decisions, thougth them through, argued them, saw no change and decided that its finaly enough.

This isn't a serious problem. This is an argument. All kids have them with adults, and theres nothing you can do about it. Just ignore his ass, and do whatever you want. **** him.

Use him as a punching bag? I would do that atleast...

You can't sue somebody for speaking to you...

Truthfully, there isn't much you can do. You can frame him, but most likely, that'll blow up in your face. You can just ignore him, your best bet, and if he gets physical tell the authorities. You can, as AtomSlap so bluntly put it, 'castrate him with words.'

There are very few choices, but as a kid, you can't do anything. You have no rights, at all. Every right that you have is indirect, and given to you by your parents, and if your mother says that your uncle is your current guardian, then he can take your rights away. Talk to your Mom about this, and tell her how it annoys you and such.

Although, I do have to agree with the person in this thread who said that you should talk to somebody else. The majority of people on these forums, and I mean no offense by this, aren't even 18 yet, and because so, aren't fully educated enough to resolve these problems on their own. In fact, even I'm not, these are just suggestions, and things I would do in such a position, so don't take them into too high of regards. Remember, never trust the words of strangers.

EDIT: As I said before, and is made apparent by the post above mine, the majority of this forum wouldn't be able to handle this situation the right way.

Why the hell would a lawsuit work? Honestly, that's ******ed. People like you are the reason America's lawsuit system is a giant joke. Frivolous lawsuit after frivolous lawsuit.

You're living in the South from what I can tell. You're expected to do a lot of work around the house and now that your father has died you're supposed to become the man of the house. Yeah, your uncle is probably an alcoholic like pretty much everyone from where we live (I live in the South as well), but that's just how it is, man. You just gotta get your education and get the hell out of this cesspool before you become your uncle.

Man, it's just how it is down here. There's nothing you can do about it, but work hard and get strong. Go lift a ton of weights.

Come on, guys. Suggestions like that are useless. Obviously this guy is the man of the house right now, in the place of the dead father. His mom isn't going to be able to do shit to kick this guy out of the house, he's here to stay. Unless YOU kick him out he isn't going anywhere. You're gonna have to fight the guy or deal with him.

Also, buy a machete or a pistol. You'll need either one if he plans to threaten your life afterwards.

Violence is only going to get you in trouble. You fight him, and not only will you get in trouble with the law, but because of your actions he will appear more trust-worthy than you. You will then become "the boy who cried wolf", if you know what I mean.

To resolve an issue like this you need to talk to the right people.
His mother is the first one. Talk to her, tell her exactly what we have been told. If she doesn't do anything, go to the school counselor and tell them about this. They will help you with this.

Yeah, a school counselor might help, didn't think about that route. The only problem with that is I don't know how much they could help you. If the guy is only making you feel bad with his words there really isn't all that much they can do about it.

I know where you're coming from, bro, and the only solution here is going to be becoming a bigger man than he is. You've got to get tougher and bigger than him and show him who's boss. How old are you, anyway?

Threaten him and if he does anything funny, take a bat to his kneecaps.
