I'm going to have so much fun killing missile spammers. Missiles are good yes, but using them too much is a weakness which shows as a very glaring wound later on (anyone whose played flight sims/space sims will understand this)
Can't wait. XD SCO went down right before I got to retry it on Vista. Don't think it worked anyway, though.

Well IT IS going to update, this is not Gpotato that only cares about one of their games and they are like "screw all of the others"... this company is more balanced with their game attention so this looks like it will be a long run for Flysis.

there are some gears that you might not want to spam missiles with! B gears are very very very slow at re-loading so make every shot a "P0Wn3D U N00B" shot XD, adding to that B-gear missiles are best at Dumb Fire(Not homing) so they are very good at sniping the shit out of people, the I gear is named "Idle Sniper" but they Dont really Snipe... they are strike craft and the best at missile handling! B gear are the bombers in this air show and they are great for blowing the crap out of stuff no matter the altitude they are in... meaning bombs hit flying gears... and ground ones... and everything in between...Quote:

I almost cried[Inside:(] when i heard SCO was getting shutdown as it was the only flying shooter i ever liked on the computer...Plus the only one my crappy computer can play XD. My type was always the Tank type[B-Gear i think] where they can land and just shoot the enemies out of the air with no problem. :3

All IGs have to do to beat Bgs in a dog fight is keep your distance and turnaround skill and backmove skill alot to throw them off, its best to use reattack/attack weapons.Quote:

in my experience,the best way to deal with B-gs is to use overboost to gain a significant advantage, and then plummet from the highest possible,that way you'll always dodge GBM. ABM may be a problem if its the lvl78 and he have high prob bawoos,otherwise piece of cake.
anyway in a NvN war you cant keep your distance with all the Bgs on the map,so get used to the go highest-plummet-spam missiles-run tactics :p
I don't remember whether it was in OB or retail but nation wars were pretty sweet at least for the first couple of times. A horde of <lv30 trying to shoot anubis out of the sky was lul, eventually we all got ganked and got portal camped.
Once we (ANI) made it to the 2nd closest map to BCU or something, looked like a volcano-ish region. Of course this was when everyone played on ANI. Not completely sure how close we got. LND was with us, or something like that.

OK. First things first. Why all the bishing over the names? If Gpotato never called it 'Space Cowboy' I'd never have put that Jamaroquai track in my playlist. :(
With that aside. I cannot wait for NvN wars. I've only participated in one and it was total madness. Probably one of the greatest 6-hours I've spent in an MMO to date. No doubt I'd return whether it's called 'Hi I'm Daisy' or whatnot just to experience it again. I know many OnRPG members will return to see the glammor.
Also, I Believe Gpotato had problems with the publisher/developer of the game and were fighting to keep it running. It was, more than likely, the reason for the lack of updates.
So I wonder why g-potato couldnt make an aggrement, but now this company did...
I used to play Space Cowboy back when it was first released. To me, it was boring as hell, but that was before most of the features that made it cool came out. Sadly by then I didn't have internet worth a crap to play on. Hopefully I'll have a decent connection before Flysis comes out, 'cuz it's looking awesome.

They tried... their only GM went to Korea to negotiate... the new company made all of the ACE versions F2P now, before most of them Where P2P. specially the one on Korea!
Gpotato hated space cowboy... how can they only give the game 1 gm for 3 servers who every 3-4 weeks had one day that all of the players will be online for 1 hour! WAT THE F**k!

Hey i saw new stuff from the Korean version i think we'll have them:
I-Gear booster change: now you can turn on HIPPER BOOST! >Regular boost is the some<
B-Gear: chaffs now change the lock of missiles, yes they don't lock on you now they lock on the chaffs... (missile Trajectory changers)
M-gear: Special Power Points rate increasing buffs
A-gear: more levels for Ground Booster
Items: Movement speed increasing cards... now you can have missiles that go at Super sonic speeds if you spam this upgrade cards on them... that makes them less homing of course, this is best for B gear and it's Dub fire wonders XD
but this is super new... like 2 weeks ago new... so i think we will have them on the next update after release XD...
I guess they didn't care about it because the updates were minimalistic.
The game had this weird program that one of the players made so we can change the color of our boosters and armors, a good example of that is on one of doubledouble videos where he has a RAINBOW BOOSTER XD.
