Stuck in self test/monitor working.

I was on the computer and accidentally kicked the monitor cable out of the computer so the whole screen turns static/blueish. I then turned it off and put the cable back in. Although whenever i start it up, it shows this red,blue, and green block that says like self test, monitor working, check your PC and signal cable. It blinks and finally disappears after 15 sec. So yeah how do i get my monitor back to normal?


Edit: ok after ****ing around with it for 2 hours i finally got it to work. Thanks to everyone who helped me and replied to this thread..................bastards.
