Because the way you can feel can be much different than just a set "oh I like girls" or "oh I like guys" or "oh I like both". You'd probably think "well what other combinations/options can there be"?

Well, the way a person feels about the different sexes on the inside can be much more complicated than just liking one or the other or both.
