Japanese if you wanna watch anime i guess.
Korean for gaming, japanese for anime. It's up to you if which one you like more.
Korean games don't have subs, so i suggest you to learn korean instead.
Korean is for gaming, since alot of RPG's and MMO's are korean, you'll have better luck.
Japanese is mostly for cartoons and anime. :)
Korean = mmos.
Japanese = anime, manga, hentai, rpgs.
What they said.
Also, I suppose you would have an easier time with whatever you may have been exposed to more frequently, which in my case was Japanese. Also, Kanji plays well with parts of my memory, ssoo bonus!
Korean for online games, And Japanese for everything else. In most cases i noticed that Korean Rule Online development of games and Japanese consoles.
Overall Japanese is better.

Enuff say go learn Japanese.
Korean for culture/gaming/girls.
Japanese for culture/anime/girls/porn.
'Nuff said.
Ewwww. Culture. -puke-
There's some really good Japanese games too D:
So it's more like this:
Korean: Games/girls
Japanese: Games/Anime/Manga/Girls/Hentai/Doujinshi
Korean: Dog killers
Japanese: technology + 10

Tell you the truth, I don't see Korean games getting popularity in the future, so importing their games wouldn't be the best main career path, but as long as it's a foreign language it will get you in college so go Japanese.
imo japanese is a real pain in the ass to learn......the kanji and stuff really sucks
Although as a fan of anime japanese would be a good choice, but i live in Canada which has a very large korean population, and not japanese, so i think korean would be more handy.
Congratulations.
You've just reached the peak of a sad mountain called *******.
Personally I think that if anyone is willing to dedicate themselves to learn another language, more power to them. Just remember to stay focused and disciplined.
lol learning a language to play games/watch anime... is it worth all the trouble just for that? lololol.
but eh, whatever.. anyways.
go learn japanese i guess. its the easiest to learn.
Almost all korean games get imported to japanese very early.
i like speaking korean more then japanese.
korean is more unique
Go with Japanese, Korean is over-rated. Japanese always will have the better technology for games, so whenever you go to Japan you'd be able to understand those games they have there!
But then again Korean is basically the alphabet, anybody over the age of 3 can learn it, it's so simple.
I'll give you a bit of advice. I'm not criticizing you, but if your only reason for learning the language are the reasons posted, you will NOT be persistent enough to learn the language. It takes a LOT of interest in a language to learn it, you have to immerse yourself(that's downplaying) in the language, not just audio or occasional practicing.
I where you're going, Loth - is it okay if I call you that?-. But, I think Abysmal was saying to be totally interested in the language (which I debated about) you have to immerse your self in learning about the country and the language and cherishing it so that you would fully understand, and even have gratitude about that language.
