*hopes half-elves arent overrated*
is there an IP block?
The majority of people are picking Scout as an Half-Elf, but in the foreign versions if you do find an half-elf using a bow past level 50, he's a rarity.
I'll probably go Ranger.
@kurono
No, there is not.
I bet 50% of the ppl will go for the half elves~
I am going to, but just because I'm in love with the class skills. I'm also trying out a Dhan Assassin -> Predator
Nah, there will be more Assassins and Dark elves for sure. Anyway, the MultiKill counter thing sounds really cool, like you can get the counter to 99/100 and then go hunt a boss ;o
i bet most people will go for the class with that 2H weapon that can be converted into dual swords
I hope this isn't off-topic. But how do I see if im in the CB. I log into my account at Playrohan.com and I can't really seem to find any info about me being in CB. Maybe I am not or?
I actually think there will be plenty of each race around.
Cyber, are you creating a guild in-game?
Question time:
What is exactly needed for the creating of a guild?
This is weird. I log in to my account and it still says '' Log into your account to see more info [...]''
Take a look:

As I said before, if you didnt get a pop-up stating your in CB, then you are not in.
I dont know if I will be creating a guild, and I dont know anything about how to create one. I did find something interesting that I want to know more about. Guilds have skill trees.........
2 million cron and you need 3 other people in order to start it.
Depending on which feature they start with, earlier guild features you didn't need any level specific level (according to the JP wiki) just show up witht he cash and other people.
The latest feature you need the cash, people,be level 30+ and complete a quest.
Sounds interesting. The skill tree is probably concerning Town battles and the such, as well as raising the amount of people you can have in the guild.
omg..just read that about scouts..
how can there be such a inbalance ?Quote:
Just sharing some info that I have after playing scout in other versions. Most people say that scouts are useless later on in game because of the low damage.
This game seems to be PvP orientated, scouts are not really useful for that purpose.
GvG battle and partying is a different story.
soloing with scouts in higher level become almost impossible because of the low damage, and certainly the AOE skills can't be used when soloing because u'll attract too many monsters so you will end up being dead.
some may argue that crossbows have a slower rate of attack. It is true, but there are tricks (don't think they are bugs) that allow u to shoot bolts quickly after/or before a skill. Therefore dealing way higher damage compared to bows.
looks the same to me as in other MMORPGs... regarding the archer/ranger/bow/xbow class~
its always hit n run tactics for soloing for archer class if they have aoe... i take reference from flyff :D its typically the same for those archer classes in L2... kiting n hit n run at the higher lvls~
That's why you don't think that much in the future and play something that you truly like.
i never ever played the healing class before... never ever... should i take a step forward... hmn... :D
So how's the skill system in the game? Go to trainer to learn em or what? Just curious :D
you forgot this part of the quote:
"Just sharing info here, not trying to say scouts are useless or anything. I will be playing scouts regardless of the disadvantages purely because i prefer bows."
what does that tell you? it's pure disinformation mate.. scouts with the right stat/skill build share the highest aoe dps together with wizards... they are solo machines if you know which mobs to go for (slow ones) and are a force to be reckoned with in gvg/town battles.
edit: regarding rangers aspd self-buff, yes it is great but- it lasts for 10 seconds, and has a 120sec cool down.
im gona go human knight just because i like melee and i herd that the half elf classes have some advantages over other classes like they have higher magic defence and armour piecing capibilties but have low pysical defence and alot more vunrable to melee attacks
doesnt matter to me now anyway. i realy hoped the half elf class is played liek those L2 archers i always loved, but this is very different and not realy what i want. so many things i dislike about ranger/scout. the 1 min aoe cooldown are a joke imo but ppl say they are that long cause many ppl bot in rohan (Oo wtf..ban the bots dont nerf the skills!).
Its not the class i wanna play in future.
ATM im only attracted by the Dark Elf Class and the Human Knights( but it sucks we cant use 2 handed weps). After reading an awesome Dark Elf Class guide which shows the possible builds and differences between Warlock and Wizard and which names some special features ( like the " Erase Ability" skill which allows to reset skills and some other stuffs) im tending more and more to play a Dark Elf Mage in CB.
And yeh the female dark elfes look awesome ( like vampyres ^^) and img lad their not grey skinned.
I still need information on The Human knight (guardian and defender) classes. cant find any useful information on rohan forums cause most ppl are just guessing..not knowing.
I would like to check all skills of each class...could anyone link something?
so basicly ..yes ^^ but thats only til u get 50Quote:
If memory serves me correctly, Dark Elf Mages will get two attack spells- a basic one you start off with and another one further along the line which is based on your INT level. Also, as a mage you will get two AOE's (Area of Effect spells- spells which affect all monsters/players within a certain area). One of these is based on the amount of INT you have, and the other is based on WIS level. Usually, you'll be using one heaps more than the other, lol. The neat thing about being a mage is that you also get a spell which allows you to teleport yourself and/or party members instantly by using a portal stone.
but spammable aoe and a massive mana pool ( with right advanced class and right build)
I'm still debating what class I will be xD
Knight, Healer, or the Dragon one.
Since I will most likely form a guild, I might go with the healer, make it easier to help others and recruit xD
I will be trying the ranged classes first, caster and missile classes.
Another good thing about the game. The storage system is universal among the characters of a single account. So making a a high level character to farm for rare drops is very useful...find it, delevel it, and place it in storage for your alt.
I'm sure we'll have guild function available with the purpose of being tested. Obviously some features won't be tested, like Township battles and such.
I think I will stick to the basic melee class... can always make a 2nd one later when I wanna explore abit :D
would not be the smartest idea to block europeans ^^

I think dark elf mage class gonna be like 5% of whole population.
50% half elf
30% dhan
doesnt realy matter ..its still cb and i think most ppl gonna switch class for OB.
where the IP block topic came from O_o
Sorry if this has been asked before, but how about the quest system? Are there allot of quest and what kind of quest? Also are there any low-level dungeons? And when does the pvp really starts to kick in?
The client is named Rohan_Global i wont think they ip-block a global (exept those who already have versions themselves korea, japan and ynk confirmed this that there will be no -ip blocks)
can anyone clear up info on guilds im wondering whats the max capacity its been said that on the english version it will be 100 max and it starts at 30 meaning that it needs to be leveled up. But from talking with people from the JP version/played the JP version they say that some of the guilds have over 150 members anyone got any more info on this?
