Never turn on mine but feel free to check it - -+
Thats like the first few weeks on mabi.. Not even counting the 1.5 years ive played TW Mabi
It depends my last mmorpg was flyff played it for 8 months then quit.
Playing a mmorpg online game for 1 -2 hours and quit hmm no thats not right.
The most mmos that is out pretty munch sucks,Why make a bad online game when you have a chance to make a good one?
The only 2 games im playing is wow and ryl thats all. ive played em for many years.
Probably the ones that download a mmorpg play it for 1 - 2 hours are children around 10 - 14 years.
But a mmorpg online game isnt fun at the start it takes time and when you play it more and more you start to like it. Because being lvl 1 and grinding, grinding, grinding isnt fun at all. But you will like a online game if you play it for days, weeks or months because it will get more fun when ur a higher level.
IMO
Don't generalize with saying Onrpgers in general there are plenty of us that have stuck to a game Here are my stats

The Wow is Spot on I never played it without Xfire if you add about 1000 hours to CO its correct I spent a year and half playing it before I knew about Xfire. Then add about 1100 hours to Flyff I played that for 2 years. I also played Runescape for 2.5 years but we'll leave that untouched...
Thats because we have so many games available to us and not enough time. So we play a game for a little bit and move on to the next game.
Its like with girls, we you have pretty girl then you go all crazy all over her. But if tons of hot girls wanna secks u up then ur not gona be very loyal to every one of them
well, how many of people stick to a game for more than 4 months, be it an mmorpg, or anything else anyways?
The only game I played for more than 1-2 months was FF7, and I played that for like several years because I thought it was awesome...
Generally, I think most people tire of mmorpgs just as they tire of single player games. No matter how good a single player game is, people usually complete it, or get tired of it in a pretty short time. And when you think about it, most mmorpg's have pretty "bad" gameplay in the sense that if it wasn't online, it would suck. So in the end, it's pretty much the online feature, meaning community etc, that keeps the game going, and that doesn't make for long-term gaming unless you meet/and or bring some good friends that can keep your mind occupied.
If you're going to play an mmorpg for a long time, it has to have a good gameplay regardless of it being an mmorpg, or you just have to have real good people to party with, or else it's going to be a drag. So they way I see it, it isn't onrpg that sucks at mmorpgs, but rather that most mmorpgs suck(or that you lack people to play with).
ROFL OP that's me to a T
I don't know what it is. Longest mmo I've ever played was tie for L2 and WoW. I can't seem to stick to any other mmo. But lately I just feel like I have little incentive to level up and progress through out the game. Especially in f2p mmos in which your character barely changes from one level to the next. It also doesn't help that I don't have any friends and my husband won't quit WoW and play the other games with me :(
Hmm... I've been playing guildwars for more than a year, RO for about 4 years(Quit though), RF for a year or 2(Went back to it when it went f2p, it was just way too grindy during p2p.). Granado Espada(on and off) for like 5 months or so, FlyFF for almost a year.
After RO and GunZ, I became a godless game hopper.
Only game I see OnRPG having a shot at ****** as a community are either one of those two, and for the latter I'd have to give serious classes.
but srsly, we have a tendency to ignore crap.
Everyone has that one game they keep playing regardless. But they try a lot of other games on the side. I have a few that I play on and off. But I take long breaks from them. Sometimes 6 month breaks.
i "was" not like that
6 years of runescape then got bored at 120
1 year of maplestory

12-120 minutes of random ones becuase of this forum
It Is True..But Most People Here Have A Reason To Hate The Game..But True..Opinions Of Others Ruin The Games For Me :P
in Soviet Russia, MMO's suck at you!
Longest I've ever played one MMORPG....2 weeks.
Should I just give up?
my 2 favorite mainstream p2p mmo's are dark age of camelot and l2, played both of them along time
my favorite non mainstream game is dark eden (love that one too and played from international/thai/japan/dk2)
also liked gunz (d-style) and gunbound (ice, boomer) alot (ijji) (not mmorpgs but w/e games i like)
pretty much it for me, ffxi was cool too but i like pvp games
i think dark age of camelot is the best mmorpg, i would still be playing it if i wasnt 2 pay expansions behind and all this new stuff coming out (warhammer, aoc, aion) along with a community thats not as big as it used to be
lucky for me it was also the 1st mmorpg i played back when it came out so i feel happy that i picked such a good one
It's 'cause most games suck...
I'm finally starting to have enough time for games again, with summer approaching in less than a month, and me spraining my ankle in a basketball game.
I'm sticking to WoW/MS private servers. :)
I played WoW for 2 years and I still play it on/off :F
