I heard that the developers are tying to make the game an adventure game instead of a shooter. Personally, I feel that modern FPSes have very clumsy controls, but this game looks great none the less. I'm definitely going to get a copy of this. It comes out November 11th.

The cross hair was decided upon later. Originally, there wasn't going to be one, since gunfights are secondary at best, but people kept getting motion sickness. The cross hair helps people keep perspective. Ultimately, this is going to be a running game, and not a shooter.Quote:

Anyways, Mirror's Edge looks great, I just see it being a little too hard in terms of controls at times, you know that one game you play where you just can't beat a part because there's so many things you need to do at once, or you just can't finnick with the controls anymore due to much frustration? If DICE doesn't play their cards right, the game could end up like that.
