Neosteam, An Alternative for Wow

I have played neosteam for a month now and so far its good, Since the opening of CBT it was my first time on this game, and i haven't know any idea on how to play this game, i'm a hard core gamer and i have played and tried many different games. Different genres and different themes.. Neosteam is very unique for what i have experienced, from their steam punk theme to the characters behind it ever the story.. I found it very awesome game ever!

I have played world of warcraft, and from neosteam's looks and details. World of warcraft have to think for a while because neosteam will be their very hard competitor when it comes to graphics

The gameplay is good, and for a first timer in MMORPG Neosteam is a newbie friendly where you can learn the commands very easily, GMs ingame are very helpful and active, they have a big respect to their players whether you belong to other country, where i do not find in other MMORPG..

I love the actions that takes place in every request that we throw, although some are hard because it envolves a user interface recreation they grant it very warm, enable us to have a enjoyful and good gaming life. I love how the developers and GM give a quick action regarding some technical matters.

So based on my over all experienced ill rate this game 10 out 10

i lol'ed so hard. Think neosteam will be a cmpetitor to WoW ?Do you atleast know what you writing . tell you this is total useless spam thread .

First off WoW is one of those games that a F2P won't be able to get to his feet , well not counting Guild Wars.

Secondly Neosteam is just unique because of his "steam punk" theme who cares? still crap in the end .

what i mean is saying that neosteam will make a hard competitor to WoW.that dosent make sense , when they will hit 11 million people playing I will problably reconsidering this but till then nope. and have soe Features that WoW have and RS to that Neosteam lack totally into it

RS is in the 2nd
NEO is in the 3rd

do RS have merely 1million player to be in the 2nd highest part of the totem pole???

RS have 1 million total players or subscribers . yeah I think its 1 million sub not sure (someone correct me if im wrong)

Everquest walks in and round house kicks all three in the junk.

its around 39% of pop pay to play rest are f2p no it does not have to have just 1m players it has to have a steady player base with a raiseing cash flow and constant updates

RS provides all that

To begin with, i agree with the OP that Neosteam is indeed an alternative for WoW. Because, what a lot of people (read:fanboys) still seem to be denying, is that World of Warcraft is NOT the only mmorpg out there worth playing.
Eventhough i have my doubts about neosteam's playability, on pure theoretic basis, it Is an alternative, just like Runescape or any other mmorpg out there.

As for the reasons given, that's where my agreeing opinion suddenly turns into a crystal clear horizontal nodding the head.
I'll begin by saying that i'm personally not a fan of World of Warcraft and would easily prefer the likes of Lotro, Everquest and soforth over WoW for whole cardbox of reasons.
But you have to stay real. Neosteam is in terms of quality, production value, investment value, Far superior compared to Neosteam.

Graphic wise, neosteam is generic, just plain awful and nothing compared to the quality of World of Warcraft. If you so care to compare graphics with WoW, take one that has a chance. In that case, perhaps Lotro, which makes WoW bite the durt in terms of graphics. But neosteam? that's plain ignorance and wishful thinking.

Gameplay wise, i sincerely doubt that neosteam is a barrel of content, if even a matchbox of it. Neosteam has a generic korean anime grinder feeling to it, and i'm pretty certain that it is.

i can keep this up, discussing every single comparable aspect between the 2. But the ironic part of what you said earlier (concerning comparing ducks to crocodiles), is that you are doing the exact same thing with Neosteam and WoW. Don't ever try to compare a highly rated P2P mmorpg which was founded on millions ,of dollars to a generic f2p mmorpg that doesn't at least shine between it's f2p bretheren.
In that aspect, P2P and F2P are the crocodile and the duck.

See i dont find that true i find alot of games tend to go with my tastes more then p2p games example Guild wars vs alot of p2p games i played i loved it and ill rate it higher then what i would in general rate a game

NeoSteam isnt as boring as other games <,<
i've played quite a few MMORPG's and there werent many which kept me playing for long...
NeoSteam is one of those games i really enjoy =)
the lvling is quite fast if you are in a good party in rear land...
the quests give good exp (not like MS...)
the community is funny and just sometimes a bit annoying...
killing elerds is so much fun =D
my guild is active and i like it in there (normally i hate guilds...lol)

and its still just OB o,O"

so dont just say "same crap as the other korean grinders"...because THAT isnt true :S

I'm going by what I've seen from most P2P gamers. They think that beacause they pay for something it's better. F2P games really aren't F2P they just don't charge a monthly fee and make money in another way. Also I find that most MMOs are that same and I refuse to pay a monthly fee only to get bored soon.

what the hell?
i've got 2 lvl 7X chars and 1 lvl 8X @ gMS...played it for quite a while...thats why i was comparing the quest-rewards -_-"

and u know exactle what i mean...
"other korean grinders" -> 10000 exact monsters at the same place for many many hours for just a few exp...at lvl 30 for example...
NeoSteam is a korean game...fine...but not a "korean grinder" like many others...

and seriously...i didnt bash any game...i just wrote what i think and all you can do is "BLABLA. End."...thats just bullshit...

At least Neosteam doesn't involve money just to make your character strong

not unlike other games, you have to pay for a good weapon..but gameplay and graphics isn't decent enought and woth while for the money

@ Maya i didnt say you bashed a game did i? i agree with your statement ive heard its not that grindy to you hit the near end game but still you grind do you not? and i know what you mean in general so dont worry :p


@ Saltnpepper alot of f2p games are about the cash shop soon neo will get one offering mounts/weps/Expx2 and such like many games so it will either make it so 1.who pays the most wins the most 2.just for looks

And stop stateing graphics this graphics that graphics dont make the game they only improve it

agreed to that cash shop is isn't available yet, but if ever it is available..it is indeed worth while for spending cash..

LOL then they will shut down soon. If they have no way of making money they will not last. F2P just means no montly fee. You still have to make money hence cash shop. If they don't have shop now they'll get one later.

HEY NOW!! What's wrong with (some)Korean Grinders? I would pick Ragnarok Online and Lineage 2(maybe) over WoW any day. Ah, and yes, I played all 3. I even had a 1900+ rating on 2v2 for WoW, so no joke.

I agree I had more fun playin RO than I did WOW. It's all depends on the person.

RO is indeed fun (Currently on a server my self and about 1k+ others) and in general its amuseing still to this date

You also then had to pick a fight with runescape whilst it was mentioned makeing this thread scale a tiny more then the others online came to see this thread makeing it grow bigger and bigger you also did say about 2 paragraphs more then just those two lines
