Uhu, usually about 30 is required for it to be smooth, anything under gets somewhat choppy.
30-40 for mmo and rts but need more in fps games imo
30 fps is considered playable, 60 fps is considered perfect. That's what I hear a lot and it's true, but 18-20 fps would probably be the minimum.
I need at least 60-70 on a fps to play good, i get around 100 in cs:s :D
For mmo's i dont really care, as long as it doesnt break alot
20 ok 30 i like 40+ Awsome!
i can't say off the bat, and i'm too lazy to look it up.
30fps above 20 below I bash my keyboard.
AMD X2 4400+
8800GTS 320(classic lol)
4gbs DDR2 800mhz
480Watt PSU
and I just got a Coolmaster Mystique which looks 100% epic heh.
to my knowledge 30 is good enough while 60 is great, and i doubt if the difference between 60 and 100 is noticeable...
I don't really know how many FPS i get but as i'm playing LOTR at the mo it does pt a little strain on my PC as i play on very High with very little lag (only when there is a lot of people) but for some reason my computer can't handle monster play raids. I get around 10-20 FPS on very low detail but then the battle i join was a 20 vs 20 raid.
Im fine with 20 if the graphic card is under stress.
25 is minimal, I usually mold the setting until I get a steady 30
Would anyone recommend getting an ATI Radeon HD 4850?
It's came out recently and costs $200 and is what I plan on getting.
I get 5-10 fps in WoW and it is not choppy at all, really smoothe.
im not gonna take 20-40 fps for granted
I can live with 30. Anything less is annoying.
40-50 is what I consider smooth.
it really is running smothely, I have low fps, but the other thing latencey I think it is, is really high, or really low, whatever is better, I mean it does get choppy, but I deal with it...
you would need 30-40 fps to be able to play with no gfx lag
you would need 60/70+fps to be competitive
Well I think 15-30 is smooth. But this is coming from the guy that got less than 1 fps in SW in WoW. I should've taken a picture. It was .6-.8 fps and I could barely walk. But it was with a crappy Integrated video card since then I've upgraded to a half decent nvidia *thumbs up*
That is a LOT of fps cingal O.o
